Greetings, I'am interested in becoming a member of the craft.
I live in Illawarra region of NSW, how do I go about finding and petitioning a lodge?
    I appreciate your response.

Masonry is referred to as the craft. I posted the URL for the New South Wales web site on another thread.

yes, it is refered to as the craft in many places, means nothing bad at all, it is also refered to as an occult, which it is, not the same as refering to it as a cult.

Far to few people are aware of this, my brother.

    Occult is confused with Cult.

    Gnostic is confused with Agnostic.

    Truth is confused with fear.

It is a Brotherhood, a Fellowship, and a kind and gentle Craft, and is referred to as such several times in my Mother Lodge's ritual.

See which lodges are within driving distance and talk to their secretaries, and go to their festive boards if you can. Lodges vary quite a lot in their quality and ambience. It is important to find a lodge where you will be comfortable.

It is referred as the Craft in England and Wales here, same as the terminology that you are using "Blue" or "Blue Lodge".

I think you guys missed the "Are you a Master Mason?:Not A Mason " on the above respondent's profile page :)

It's a Brotherhood. It's a Craft. It is a lifelong pursuit; its THE Craft :)
