Reading of minutes and correspondance

I was told one of the local lodges in Houston had been ordered to read minutes after having skipped them for several years. That they were told to read all skipped minutes.

This could have been a stretch, or, even not have happened. I took it for fact at the time but I will check further.

We post them on a board prior to the meeting. Brethren can read them.

In Scottish Rite they are kept on file, but not read in the meetings. We focus both blue lodge and SR on the enrichment of the individual, not reading what we know we already did.
