Thanks Mark. Seeing as how I am from a small town and I have no idea who hangs out here, I’ll hold back on personal info. At least for now.

Congratulations on becoming a MM.

Many folk have their Lodge in their signature, but I get and respect your approach. I pretty much have done the same thing on the web in every forum and social media platform I have been on..

Thank you sir. I have probably been looking a long time for what I am finding in freemasonry. I am not a troll, clandestine or pretender.

Being a seven month and recently raised Mason, I am so excited to seek out more light although I’m pretty sure it is offered in a great many more places than it is actually to be found.
Thanks for the welcome.

Hey there Mike - ‘Eternal Apprentice’ I love it! Just seeing that, my mind just kinda blew up just trying to get around that idea. Thanks for checking in.

I spoke to your Fraternal Relations Chair today and your Jurisprudence Chair last week.

Yeah, two areas I am still in the dark on. I haven’t gotten my number to set up Grandview yet so I’m not able to see the Acacia list or the Constitution or anything yet. And the GLoTX is out of stock on all of it so I can’t even order paper copies.
I’m about to turn in my MM work and hoping our Secretary is able to get me completely set up with the Grand Lodge.

Yip. I had downloaded Amity but stopped registering at Member Number. So I just went ahead and finished it all with no number and it let me in. Just won’t show me any info (just the lodge name) until I’m verified.
It shouldn’t be long until I’m recognized. I know I don’t pay dues until next year so I won’t get a dues card until then. Luckily I have a lot of small lodges around me and have sat in several being vouched for by a brother.

DustyNWindy. You should have a due card when you EA, you paid for your EA degree, FC and MM. Are you a member of a regular lodge ? What is your Gd Lodge and Mother Lodge. If you are regular don't visit underground lodges.

Hey Mark - Yes I’m regular in Texas. There are degree fees and I paid those. There is a paper card that the Secretary of my lodge can stamp, I just haven’t asked him to do it.

My MM degree was put on me last month and I’m fixing to turn in the work and the ALL workbook, which will finish my requirements. GLoTX Grandview and Amity ask for a member number. I don’t know if I won’t get that number until I turn in my work or if I have had one and the Secretary just hasn’t told me yet.

And oh no, there isn’t any wonder about the lodges I go to. There are several small ones within 30 minutes of my house and many brothers are affiliated with several.

I attend 4 different floor schools, which has been a real blessing in getting to know the brothers, learning the work and getting to see what just happened to me in each degree. It will be tough to narrow down just which lodges I will affiliate with besides my home lodge. I am very excited to do the work but if I’m to be of benefit to any of them, I will need to have the time to show up and participate.

All that to say yes, I’m regular in TX!

Well brothers and others, I just got back from a quick meeting about an ice cream social my lodge has planned. On the way out, the Secretary asked me if I had my number. I did not but he had it for me

So I went and set up Grandview and found that Amity had already turned me on. Been a good day for me.

Neither of my US GLs provided a dues card as an EA, and not all GLs use dues cards.

I‘ve never heard the phrase “underground lodge.”

The other young brother already provided his GL and gave reason for not providing his lodge.

I’m still stuck on ice cream social. :)
