A short explanation:

American Heritage dictionary says: Undersatnding what is true, right or lasting. 2. Common sense, good judgment

Proverbs 3:19-20 "By wisdom the Lord laid the foundations of the earth, by understanding He set the heavens in place; by His Knowledge the deeps were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew." Hence Our monitor approaches wisdom as seen as a divine power standing between the Creator and the creation. A power or ability to create order.

A biblical perspective is that wisdom is something theoretical, it's something very practical that affects everyday life. It gives order and purpose, it gives discernment for decision making and and ultimatley keeps us in harmony with priniciples that The Creator has built into this world.

On a personal note it is the ability to Apply that which is right in given situations, to allow experience and common knowledge to go with what works and works best for the long haul. The ability to deal with the adversities that come so I may grow spiritually and God be glorified.
