A question on the working tools. The explanation on all of them say that we as Free and Accepted masons are to make us of them for so and so but here in Texas we are not Free and Accepted Mason we are Ancient Free and Accepted Masons what gives:)

I would think it has more to do with split and reconciliation of the Moderns and the Ancients. So the title 'Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Texas' is a display of Masonic genealogy or pedigree. You'll notice the only time a reference is made to 'Ancient Freemasonry' is in the EA oblg.

That is a bit confusing, I am not sure what the meaning or symbolgy is behind accepted? I do know that is not referring to us as F.&A.M. Masons it's meaning surley is more symbolic and meaningful than that. Something fun to look into.
