Any chance these two jurisdictions will change their names to the MWPHAGLofXX standard? Eventually it will help the movement towards recognition somewhat.

As to figuring out what jurisdictions yours recognizes, I've had to get an on-line copy of the most recent Proceedings and read through it to locate the current list. So far I have not found an on-line list on the web sites of any of my 3 jurisdictions.

If I am not mistaken, in those two states, other groups already own the names. There is a Prince Hall Grand Lodge of MS and a Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Florida, both of which are not regular or recognized by any other regular GLs. The Stringer GL has always had that name prior to the name changes that happened with all of the PHGLs in the 40's.

If prince hall does not recognize them how does

I have found that the book List of Lodges - Masonic is updated yearly and accurate as to whom recognizes whom... just a thought.

Greetings Brothers, I was told by my PM's If Your Points Are In Ward When You Wear You Light Then It Simply Means That You Don't Want To Be Challenged By Other Brothers. If They're Outward It Means You're Ready To Be Challenged And Accept Further Light In Masonry. But I Say This If Anybody That Wears Their Light Should Be Proficient In Their Knowledge. No We Don't Take Your Things But We Feel Disappointed Because We All Should Take Masonry With Us Everyday In Our Hearts. A lot Of People Join For The Wrong Reasons And Some Join For Their Love Of It. I For Love It. Good Morning Brothers.

Is there a version of this for each jurisdiction?

As long as one can start at the UGLE list and move from there it's going to be accurate enough in the case of very many jurisdictions one version can work for all of them. The book I saw in GLofTX sure looked identical to the one I've seen in my other jurisdictions plus ones I've visited when they decided to use it.

I take it all 51 PHA jurisdictions recognize each other so there would be a need for a PHA version that tracks who recognizes who outside of the PHA family.

That suggests to me there needs to be two general versions but I wonder about the accuracy rate. I remember Illinois voting to retain recognition for France against the advice from the Conference of Grand Masters committee. When I checked California details I found two PHA jurisdictions missing, but I also saw a list of PHA jurisdictions that had not answered the invitation yet. To get good accuracy there would need to be a lot of versions and I wonder at the price/benefit ratio of printing so many slightly different versions.

The book Brother Raymond mentions lists Jurisdictions worldwide and who they recognize. All Lodge Secretaries should have a copy.

Imeeks357 there are clandestine lodges I hope your not in one of them. But if your GL has recognition and was legal constituted. There is no issue. There is arena football and there's the NFC & AFC they are all football but not all NFL. Arena FB is like clandestine lodges very similar but not the same. There is a reason why masonry forbids clandestine lodges its to preserve the purity of the craft and to prevent perversion of the craft. I have to ask myself how do I preserve masonry when it's constantly being diluted
