    Just a reminder....

That was awesome! The best part was the daughter's reaction at the very end. Thanks for making this and thanks for everyone that is or has ever been in the military.

So did you get the Taurus yet? If so, how do you like it??

    Wow, Just wow....

That's why I left South Flor-A-Duh. If you stopped to say Hi to someone, they checked for their wallets when you walked away. Kinda sad actually.

There's no waiting period in Texas. That blew me away when I got a gun here the first time. I asked how long the wait period was and was laughed at, then the sales guy said, "This is Texas son, we ain't gotta wait for a gun here." I just laughed...

    Wow, Just wow....

So the other day, I snuck out of work early and on the way home, I saw a car stuck in the middle of the street with her hazard lights on. When I passed the car, I noticed that the driver was an older woman and she had her head down on her steering wheel. I pulled in a gas station that was...

I read an interesting blog today.

Cool, thanks for the info. I was just wondering about that as a "what if" situation. About the reading thing, I was totally just joking. I've been told I have a wierd sense of humor that has gotten me in trouble in the past. I hope I haven't done that here already :( -Scott

I read an interesting blog today.

http://jratcliffscarab.blogspot.com/2006/06/ten-reasons-not-to-become-freemason.html I know I said I'd stop reading stuff, but I can't help myself. I was just trying to find out if you can change lodges after you reach the M.M. degree and came across this....

I know this is a little behind, but I bought a Taurus .45 brand new and I haven't been able to put make it through one mag. without it jamming on me. I load the mags with 10 rounds and have put about 200 rounds through it so far. I took it to the gunsmith at the range I belong to and he said...

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

OK, I'll stop reading (I don't think I've ever been told to stop reading before....). The one book I've really been reading had great big letters "SPOILER ALERT" and a caution, so I stopped those parts. I'll just sit on my hands and wait..... I really am glad I found this site. Thanks again...

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

Yeah, I was going to ask if there was something like that around me once I got started. Something like vacation bible study when I was in Sunday school.

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

I have already started an "e-library". I have "Freemasons for Dummies" by Christopher Hodapp (Almost finished), "The Builders" by Joseph Fort Newton (I haven't started it yet), and "Morals and Dogma" by Albert Pike (Tough going so far for me). I got those for my iPhone so I could read on slow...

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

Yeah, that's what it was for me too at first...After last night though, now I have something else to think about. I kept hearing "We can't tell you that yet" and "You'll find that out soon enough". Heck, I was even told not to dress nice for one of the degree initiations....now I'm real...

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

Short update: I went to a local lodge (I'm not sure if I can mention the name) last night to visit and I definitely liked it! I was told I was welcome to come back before the next meeting and was even given a petition to fill out. I have it filled out now and will be bringing it in 2 weeks...

    Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

I just finished watching this movie and it was amazing! After the first 15 minutes or so, I couldn't pull myself away from the T.V. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it!

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

Thanks to cemab4y, I started reading "Freemasons for Dummies" and it makes it so much easier to understand what's being said. Thanks cemab4y for telling me about it. I really like some of the things that I've read, but I still don't know what to think. I'm 42 years old, I cuss, drive too...

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

Thanks for the links Charles. I really liked the link that takes the folks that "know" Masonry is wrong to the kiddie toy site :14:. I just had to click it, it's like putting a sign on a button saying "Don't push this button", I couldn't resist that... I saw "Freemasonry for Dummies" but...

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

Thanks for the replies so far everyone. I will go ahead and go to a lodge before a meeting and say hi. Most of the lodges that I found with the locator have meeting times posted. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't get chased away before I even got started :19: -Scott

What's the best way to learn about Freemasons?

First off, I have been interested in the Freemasons since I was a kid and learned that my step grandfather was a mason. Unfortunately, I learned it at his funeral. Since then, I would see the Masonic rings here and there and thought about it half heartedly. Recently, I went through some...
