    I question the questions.

We ran the Communists out of Texas with the Comanches! So no need to ask that here. We must that sent them to Louisiana and Kentucky.:24: Seriously though, asking questions like that sort of takes away from the importance of the other more realistic questions.

Is one lodge better than another?

If I were a young fellow looking to advance through the degrees with excitment and a level of precision to the work, I would want to know how good the lodge's educational program and ritual work was. By educational program I mean the one on one teaching of candidates (both the work and the tenets).

Brother, there's nothing wrong with sheading a tear for a young life lost to soon on our behalf.

Is one lodge better than another?

Yes there are lodges that are better than others, for a whole host of reasons. Now determining which one is better out of a group is difficult, because Masons don't and/or shouldn't talk bad about each other or other lodges. Do you know members of the various lodges? I take it you live in...

    I question the questions.

I think all the questions should be asked on all of the petitons (initiation, reinstatement, affiliation).

    Pick Your Brain?

I am with brother Tidwell, I don't think its very tasteful for anyone other than family to take photos of those who have passed. Much less publicize them. I think this was a photo opportunity and would disagree with it no matter who the politician was.

2B1ASK1 should be changed to 2B1ASK5

Sounds to me like there are two of them, but they won't sign his petition. Pete - I assume you have asked them, I don't see how knowing you professionally and personally should make a difference when it comes to signing the petition. There are plenty of guys that I work with that I don't...

    What the....

Seems to me that his decison had a racial basis and no a legal basis at all. Stupid decision on the part of the DOJ. I think small town elections would be much better without parties. In my small town as in others in TX (and probably the big towns) things get all screwed up at primary...

    Masons for Jesus

I agree with you. I really don't care for the name or the site, unless it is just a group for masons who happen to also be christians or vice versa. But to use either group to promote the other is wrong IMO. I believe that masonry is free of any religion. Oh, there are "religious" elements...

    Origins of Masonry?

I believe it started with operative stone masons in guilds and grew into a speculative craft as non-operative individuals were allowed to join. As others have indicated, those operative masons guilds could go way back even before King Solomon's Temple. It is also reasonable to believe that the...

is it a requirement US legal status to join the Freemasonry?

Thats incorrect. We descrimate against several groups. When it comes to joining our fraternity atheists, criminals and folks with severe mental issues to name a couple. We don't allow masonic dealings with clandestine, suspended or expelled masons. Agreed!

No Women in the Frat but Could we Share our Rituals

Thank You! For those of you who are for this, are there women who are putting pressure on you or asking why they can’t do it? I have known quite a few women who know or are related to Masons, and I have never heard met on that wanted to be a Mason. Likewise, I have know plenty of women...
