Bro. Blake,
Perhaps take the envelope they send to you and mail it back to GL empty. Hopefully they'll get the hint. Congrats on being WM! Does your lodge have a pin with your lodges name on it?
I have a computer that I had hooked up to a phone line via a fax machine and I got rid of the fax machine and second phone line for the fax machine.
My question is how do I get my computer online again? Our family has wifi via the phone company's router downstairs. I bought a USB wifi device...
@ Bill Holser
Bro. Bill, I'd recommend getting an iphone instead of an android as I have had no problems with my iphone yet. And I have owned two of them an iphone 3GS and iphone4.
Are there any fellow brothers in the hospitality industry, specifically as a concierge? The reason I ask is I'm interested in becoming a concierge, but the University of Houston Conrad Hilton School of Hospitality does not offer a degree or certification as a concierge.
I would like to know if...
Egypt Freemasonry was banned in Egypt in 1964. An internet search will reveal a "Regular Grand Lodge of Egypt" but this is a bogus group, part of the irregular and unrecognized "Regular Grand Lodge of England" which you can read about in detail here. Should you become associated with this...
@plustax
The opposite is true for me, while I love the shrine and enjoy being a member often times events are too far away to attend. Instead I attend the shrine club meetings once a month (I'm the secretary), but I want to focus more on lodge and learning so one day I can go through the...
Since y'all know a lot more about baseball than I do, I'm going to my first Astros game may 4th at minute maid park. I haven't been to a game since the astrodome was still open and saw Nolan Ryan play.
Any recommendations on what to eat while there? Or advice in general?
Wonderful! We (my parents and I ) haven't left yet. We drive from Texas to Mass it takes about four days. I will certainly let you know when we leave and you'll love the cape and Boston. If you head up that way before I do let me know and I'll be glad to put together a list of non tourist places...
@jwhoff
If you are coming to Boston this summer let me know perhaps you could come to the cape for a visit and come to lodge two Texans are better than one! It's about an hour from Boston Logan to being on Cape. I petitioned in MA because I met a Shriner soliciting donations at a supermarket...
@jwhoff:
Whom would that be? I listen to 740 AM on Saturdays driving to lodge for breakfast. PM me if you'd like. I'm still interested in the Scottish Rite just saving up money to join at the moment.
@jwhoff
Would that be Randy Lemmon or Tom Tyman on KTRH 740 AM?
Bro. Jerry
QUOTE="jwhoff"]Here's one.
I was driving with my wife to her brother's house two Saturday mornings ago. The usual chitchat with the radio in the background.
I had been listening to this home-fix-it show for more...
@KS
Here is a list of lodges in Elizabeth City, NC and a link to the grand lodge web page with clickable links. Also you can double check information by using the "List of Lodges Masonic" book that has lodges listed by state, alphabetically etc.
Hope this helps!
