I wear a ring. I don't have the S&C on my car because I drive like a jerk at times and would hate to have the fraternity associated with my lack of vehicular courtesy. It's a weakness of mine and something that I'm working on. *sigh* I hope someday to have circumscribed my passions enough to be...
"Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really...
Thank you for your responses, Br. Daniel. I will be speaking to the WM of my lodge this evening at our stated meeting. I'm aware that this is a Florida issue, but I think that having feedback from other jurisdictions may help put this edict in its proper perspective. Also, I do think that this...
I have been taking some time to think about this edict in order to ensure that my passions have been properly circumscribed. Upon reflection, it strikes me that there is likely protocol involved in contacting a Grand Master outside of Texas. Would any brother please shed some light on that...

I've been meaning to reply to this thread for quite a while. I've since been raised, and I was pleased to discover that Br. Jwhoff is correct. There is plenty of research that I have been presented with after having been raised. I'm currently starting to memorize various roles in the craft...
I didn't know that lodges had the option of turning it in in three sessions. My lodge has you turn it in all at once. It's a lot of work, but it gives you confidence for the work to follow.
Br. Stedman, I'd love to visit. I heard about the cave degree. It sounds really cool! Unfortunately, I'll be out of town that weekend, but I'll be putting it on my schedule for next year! I'm working diligently on my esoteric work so that I can come visit. I'm looking forward to meeting the...
