Looking at historical Masonic pictures of masons and their aprons it is clear that uniquely embroidered aprons with a variety of symbols of the craft and maybe personal to the brother were used on eachs a personal apron. Why today is this not as common? Is it discouraged and if so why?Examples...

Anyone ever try the public hunting land at the Sam Houston WMA? Thinking of going out there to take out some hogs next month, and maybe try some deer in the fall. Don't have a hunting lease so this looks like a good option.

Great picture... Seeing my great grandfather's tombstone is what prompted me to find out more about the fraternity and seek out a lodge. He died in 1969 and had the S and C on his. My great grandmother passed in 2011 and had the Eastern Star on hers.

Seems weird that the organization would just 'spring up' from no where. I'm sure that it had to of existed before the official formation of lodges in the 1700s. Interesting to learn and hear about all the ideas out there. Thanks!
