Is anglo-freemasonry on the endangered list?

"I don't know anything about the Moors but what you're saying is reminding me a lot of "The Hiram Key", I don't know if you've read it or not. I'm not sure how I feel about all of it myself. There's no doubt that our civilization is heavily influenced from Greece/Rome...who likely were inspired...

Bro. Vincent I would like to continue this convo in a private msg or on a separate thread. I don't want to hijack this thread.

Is anglo-freemasonry on the endangered list?

"The moors trace alot of their lineage back to that part of the world. In Morocco and northern Africa. I understand they were active during different time frames... My point is they were a vital link between ancient freemasonry (african not greek)and modern western civilization's...

    Ideas to improve the Lodge.

Thanks bro. I plan on going to the annual communication this year, so ill have an opportunity to pick some brains. We also have a lot of events going on, throughput the year, but I think it's a great idea to have newer brethren assume the role.

    how old is freemasonry?

The "Masonophobes" have been saying the same things for years with no progress. YEARS! They continue to say the same thing over and over and blah and blah. (Sorry). They knowingly choose to over look crucial facts that blows their whole Mickey Mouse operation out of the water. Example: the myth...

why did you join the freemasons?

"Researched them for 5 years before I moved forward. Alway know two things, 1.) what your getting into 2.) your reasoning for getting into it. This brotherhood is THE OLDEST FRATERNITY in the world and not every man can say "I am a Mason" - good points. I felt that after years of looking...

I haven't seen any of that. Only proficiency in degree work. When the SD is going for JW he has to recite the JW lecture. Same with the SW going to master. I'm not sure if there's anything else to be honest.

    how old is freemasonry?

I have a book called " The Secret Destiny of America" by Manly P. Hall. The name of the book doesn't really apply to the content. I believe Bro. Hall, like other authors knew how to get a readers attention with cool titles. But he gets into the notion off sonic principles influenced on the...

Thanks for the advice! Although I'm not familiar with the C certification. I've heard it mentioned on it here but not much else. Could you elaborate?

    Original Bible translation

"Actually, I'd wager that professional (properly licensed by hierarchy) exorcists within the Catholic Church (to accept their validity for the moment) would agree that this "repeated possession" phenomenon would be far more likely to be a psychiatric issue than a spiritual one." - I like this...

    how old is freemasonry?

The operative mason who build cathedrals and churches were around in the Middle Ages. St. Mary's chapel lodge has minutes date back to 1599. I believe at that time both operative and speculative masons were meeting there.

    EA Degree

Congrats. I remember the first charge I did to the newly clothed EA, referring to animosity on the lodge and the explanation of the apron (apron charge) I felt honored as well, especially since I was raised the previous meeting. I really enjoyed it. Last month I did my first, second degree as...

    Ideas to improve the Lodge.

"Do you find the members are dropping off due to the floor work and has lost ambition to travel to the east. The numbers is a significant drop." - I don't think floor work only is what would make numbers drop. The lodge has to be able to offer more than just a business meeting, especially for...

"This year we've lost one EA to college away from home. Thirteen others have moved through to Master Masons ... the last turning in his ALL program this past Tuesday evening. One gentleman who works off-shore for seven-week hitches plans to turn in sections two and three of the EA on his next...
