When I retired from the AF I sold back the max amount of vacation allowed and took the rest as 'terminal leave'. I was actually working for the present company for 2 months before I retired. I seldom take vacations
we cant carry over vacation so from about Thanksgiving till New Years we are way undermaned, including my own abscences. In the end its bad for everyone!
Graduated Taxes are a disincentive to work and produce. The way things are now and the taxes we pay, I would actually make MORE money if my wife stopped working and went on the dole. I have no incentive to take a raise or bonus because it raises me up to a newer and higher tax bracket...
