A great movie, one that everyone should watch. I recently saw an analysis on it and thought it was very intriguing. YouTube " a philosophical analysis of 2001 space odyssey " and it's 56:55. Enjoy!

For some reason as a child I obsessed over the book and movie of 2010, I read it I don't know how many times. I memorized the book and was in-love with the movie. 2001, not so much. The sequels after 2010 aren't worth that much if memory serves me properly.

I'm not sure of movies were made after 2010, there are the novels 2060 and 3001. But the review I am talking about is very good. Probably my favorite all time movie. The Vatican rates it as one of the top ten influential movies to watch, odd coming from the Vatican but hey, at least they recognize it
