Last weekend I went through the two day Reunion of the Valley of Louiville, Orient of Kentucky for the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Talk about information overload!!! Went through 29 degrees in approx. 14 hours. Obviously, only a small amount of the information "stuck". However, each of us going through were given a copy of the book "A Bridge to Light" by author Rex. R. Hutchens. It does a great job of explaining each of the degrees in easy to understand language. I highly recommend it to the newcomer to the AASR. Even those that have been in the AASR for awhile may find it helpful.
