Congratulations on your election.
Patience is indeed a valuable virtue for any Masonic Lodge officer, but as you progress through the line it becomes more and more critical in a myriad of ways. Dealing with so many brothers of varying opinions on every subject while trying to build consensus and execute on those critical Lodge functions is something that is served by well developed patience. I've been learning some myself as I progress through the line, but it can be a tough adaption at times when your entire life in the working world has been focused on 'getting it done'.
Enjoy your time in the West. I wish you and your lodge great success in the upcoming Masonic year.
