To really get into it (more than casual questing), you'll need the the VIP thing that's around 10-15 bucks a month (like normal pay to play games).

However, I used to play DDO when I was a teenager, and I've been an MMO player since around 1998.

I have a set of forums/ventrilo that a group of guys I know will be playing on, so if you'd like to join us, I'll be glad to have you.
