We held our Fall Reunion at the Albert Pike Memorial Temple in Little Rock yesterday... For my part: a zero-one-thirty wakeup, a lesson in natural gas plumbing, a 3:30 a.m. shopping run, twelve dozen biscuits, fifteen pounds of bacon, ten dozen eggs, five pounds of potatoes, ten pounds of fried baloney, 160 chicken-fried steaks, thirty pounds of mixed vegetables, right about another thirty pounds of taters (mashed), three gallons of white gravy, twenty pounds of coleslaw, fifteen pounds of apple cobbler, three cases of ice cream, not to mention milk, orange juice, coffee, and iced tea, 150 hungry brethren & friends, one [very short] nap, a flag drill, and 32 new Masters of the Royal Secret, and the Fall 2015 Scottish Rite Reunion is history in the little black book... And we had a heck of a good time in the process thereof...
VERY good.32 new Masters of the Royal Secret,
Excuse my ignorance brother but what is the VMAP program?Last spring we had 41... so we're down a little bit this time. My class had 20, back in 2012. since then, they averaged about 14-15. But we're taking the VMAP program pretty seriously, and trying to put it into effect.
Valley Membership Achievement Program: The intent of VMAP is to help each Valley carry out its service to the Scottish Rite by providing the very best experience for its members. VMAP requirements are broken into the following 10 specific subject Areas which cover the full scope of the Scottish Rite experience:Excuse my ignorance brother but what is the VMAP program?
