Making recommendations for Shriner or Scottish Rite Care

Obviously, hundreds if not thousands of families apply for care at Scottish Rite Hospitals, as well as the Shrine. I would like to know if there is a way I can make a recommendation and help expedite an evaluation? A family friend of ours has a child who may have dyslexia, but they've been put on a lengthy waiting list.

Brother Blake,

I'm not going to make any astounding remarks here. All that I would say is for you to be persistent and call the SR clinics and hospital on a regular basis in order to maybe expedite the process. The old "squeaky wheel gets the grease" theory. Maybe contact your Valley office in Austin.

Good luck.
