Pandora’s box

While waiting to be admitted (or not), I was thinking in Pandora’s box, it had all the evils of the world and because of Pandora’s curiosity they were all released but one, hope. In this version of the myth hope is considered a curse. Waiting to be admitted implies the hope, but having hope for so long is agony. What do you recommend to handle this dead time? Best
