There is a display on him at the Lee Lockwood Scottish Rite Library in Waco. When you say "I believe he was inspector general," I'm not sure what you mean. I don't think he was the SGIG in Texas, but the 33rd degree IS Inspector General. He has an entry in Denslow's "10,000 Famous Freemasons." It says that he was also Commander of Colorado Commander of Knights Templar in Austin.
