Seeking employment in the Fort Hood area

Respected Brethren, I live in the Fort Hood area and up until March of 2012 my wife and I both held positions with the Dept of Logistics, me as a WG-6 in the Supply Branch and her as a GS-9 with numerous certifications in Management Process Analysis. That being said, we both lost our jobs due to Govt lay-offs and with the state of affairs in our Govt no real hope of being able to return. It has definitely made it very hard to make ends meet and harder to find a job. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. And unfortunately moving is no longer an option due to finances or lack there of actually.
