Right now I’m under MW Pythagoras Grand lodge in Houston,Tx. I’m trying to get some better understanding about this grand lodge and why people is saying it’s bogus! Can someone pls help me out.

I’m trying to get enough information so that way it’ll be easy for me to inform this lodge that I’ll be parting ways. Bc I didn’t know that MW Pythagoras Grand Lodge wasn’t Legitimate

I used to be a Prince Hall mason here in Houston. I can put you in touch with someone who can assist you with joining. What side of town are you on?

Most of the lodges meet in 3rd Ward, one in Acres Homes, some in 5th Ward. The DDGM, Ronald Gerac, may be a huge resource for you as well with finding a lodge.

If you tell them you are leaving because of the grand lodge's status, it probably won't go over well. They will not want you telling other members what you have discovered if you decide that it's not a legitimate grand lodge. But you can also join the MW Grand Lodge of Texas as well. Just so you know all your options. Byron & I belong to the same lodge.

Thanks for the information! Yeah I’ve been doing so many different research and I can’t find anything about this grand lodge and even the grand lodge of England. Don’t have nothing dating back to the grand lodge! U are part of the MW grand lodge of Texas??
Yes, I am. I will see if I can find anything. But as Byron stated, there are only two legitimate grand lodges in Texas. That's according to Masonic law. Some of these grand lodges register as a non profit or for profit corporation to appear legitimate.
The MW Grand Lodge of Texas (Waco) & the MWPHGLoTX (Fort Worth). Prince Hall Affiliated (PHA)

Wow! That’s crazy. It’s seems like everyone I talk to tell me the same thing and when I try and tell some of my Lodge bruhs. It’s like they already in conjunction with not believing the truth.
Brother Charles Harper came from a clandestine lodge.

There are quite a few people that have shared your experience and can help you navigate the change. Bro. Harper has been very vocal about the foolishness that he had to endure at the hands of a clandestine lodge.

Please understand that men who join clandestine lodges are good men. The lodges are forces for good in their communities. If you never leave your own town it might not matter at all. But how does that jive with the expression about traveling in foreign countries?

Most jurisdictions have recognition lists very similar to UGLE. We can go to lodge in any of those jurisdictions with only some tiny differences. Not so with a clandestine jurisdiction.

In the US we still don't have recognition everywhere. Join a listed PHA lodge and you'll be able to visit PHA lodges everywhere listed and if that jurisdiction is in both lists everywhere in the world. Not so with a clandestine jurisdiction.
With a clandestine jurisdiction there is some ability to attend lodge in other parts of the country. It's just not the same as being able to look up in the list and attend anywhere.
Please become active in getting every state and province to appear in both list.
Each jurisdiction has their own list. The pages I give above are an excellent source and will end up well over 95% accurate for any jurisdiction in either list. But there will be details of difference. I suggest Brothers look up in those two to have a good idea then look up their own jurisdiction's list. But how much detail work do you want to put in? Travel somewhere, look up the local lodges, go.

The Lodge body is clandestine... Not the Mason..... The Grand Architect Of The Universe Said: My People are destroyed for the lack of knowledge.......
