Unfortunately it is. There is a guy at my job who, until I politley let him know where I stood, would routinely call people colored. Not only did nobody say anything to him, but they made excuses for him. It wasnt until a 6ft tall black guy with two half sleeves, and at that time a mouth full of...
Brothers, it's not so much the language that is being used but the actual event. Did the MWPHGLoTX petition the GLoTX to be chartered as a lodge/lodges?
Can anyone verify that the following is true? It would have happened on or about 1885.
Rev. A. Grant, W. D. G. M., called a special session of the Grand Lodge(MWPHGLoTX) and at that session declared and adopted the act of Secession from the Na- tional Compact Grand Lodge, elected delegates to...
I apologize, I wasnt very clear in my post. A charter to operate as a legitimate corporate entity registered with the State is understandable. When they refer to a charter it is comparable to a subordibate lodge charter. Basically, they are acknowledging that the State has authorized them to...
I don't remember. It was a guy that had been talking crazy on facebook and wanted me to call him, so I did. After our conversation, he blocked me on facebook so......... No worries. He told me he knew that they were legit because he had seen the seal. I was like, what seal? He said it was the...
If you knew the type of information that their members are being told........... They need all of the help they can get to be reprogrammed. At times it is so ridiculous. I've heard that the Boston Tea Party was a cover-up for someone trying to steal the charter that Prince Hall had from England.
I talked to a member of Jeremiah GL on the phone when I visited Arlington earlier this year. I had to end up just saying goodbye to him. It was a pointless conversation.
I assumed that it meant whatever location that lodges are chartered outside of the state geographical boundaries. ie, a military lodge operating overseas chartered by a PHGL in the states, wherever they meet, is operating under the authority of that GL's jurisdiction. That's how I understood it.
I finally got rid of my iphone and I'm enjoying my new Samsung Galaxy S4. Best decision I ever made. I still have an ipad 2, but I'm finding myself using it less and less.
Although there are organizations that allow women to become freemasons, none of them are recognized by any regular jurisdiction here in the United States. Women have the option to join the Order of the Eastern Star, Job's Daughters, Order of the Amaranth, Daughters of the Nile, Heroines of...
It's not about defending what the GL does, just sharing what is available. GL of State GLs don't offer healing. It's just a matter of informing brothers on what's out there. They may be able to explain that to someone who can benefit from it. It is my hope that one day visitation will be added...
I was healed from another jurisdiction. There are guidelines outlined in the MWPHGLoTX constitution if someone decided to be healed and I would have to assume that it's also the discretion of the WM and bretheren in that particular lodge. The healee has to show suitable proficiency and...
