I tried to get my previous lodge to allow me to set up PayPal and hook it to our lodges website. I was told our Grand lodge wouldn't allow us to use it
I wore mine when i visited a lodge in England. in the UK you ourchase your own regalia, its not provided to you when you visit. the only apron i owned then was my leather apron. it was weird because everyone thught i was an Entered Apprentice because it was plain white.
When I smoke brisket this is the recipe I use. I always get rave reviews. The beasn recipe on the same page is good but I found out the dish needs to sit and marinade for a while before you smoke it and serve it

I always brine my chicken for an hour and a half before I put it on the grill. The salt in the brine helps hold in the moisture inside the chicken. It really helps

I have always been lead to believe that the Commandery doesn't require a Sir Knight to be a Christian but be willing to "raise his sword in defense of the Christian religion".
I know several Jewish Masons who are in the Knights Templar and nothing has ever been said about their religious views
