Let me know if you have any questions.
Garner is a great park. I went years ago and now that we have bought a travel trailer I plan on taking the family. When I went it was with a highschool group so we never left the park...there was plenty to keep 25 highschool kids busy and out of trouble.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe at Grand Chapter this year, they up fees to $100 for Chapter and then there was some discussion on whether the Council was be $100 as well even though it wasn't voted on in Grand Council.
WOW... to me Andy is just as much in the wrong as Bob for not only telling people about it but ALLOWING it to take place in his home. I agree with Josh, if we can't upright each other then turn off the lights and close the doors!
Welcome Brother, hope you enjoy the site as much as i have. Its a great place to meet Brothers from ALL over and get some great ideas to use in the East.
If we can get it written up, as a sitting Master next year I will be happy to read it and honored put my name on it. (p.s. thank you for the friendly "we've missed you" email. life has been really busy and haven't been here in awhile)
if you like Tex-MEx there is an awesome Mexican resturant, Mi Terrias (sp?) It is a must go to when we go to SA; matter of fact our trip is usually planned around eating there. They have a nice open air market to wonder through as well. Of course the ladies always like the river walk after...
I agree with you. We have 3 Lodges with 5 miles of each other. If those 3 lodges combined in to one Blue Lodge I think we would be able to do WAY more than just survive. But I know that will not happen in my life time. Too much competition between the cities for that to happen. Where do you...
and just because they are able to be good ritualist doesn't mean they are good leaders. while I think it sets a good example of what the Lodge members should strive for, I don't think GL should make it a requirement to hold a C, B, or A certif.
Well maybe we do things a little different at Lodge. But if have a man come in off the streets and ask for a petition and says he knows no one. Then we sit down with him chat for about 30 mins. We give him a copy of the rooster tell him to take home look through and see if he knows anyone and...
Well it was re-freshing to see "young" blood in the Commadery. keep up the good work. I am sorry I never got a chance to speak to you, you are very busy man!
I am not sure what was decided I left as soon as the run off elections were over. But apparently the GHP recommendation (I dont remember the #) to increase the fees to $100 was for both Chapter and Council; it was voted on and passed (questionable since it was a hand vote). However Grand...
David...will look for you Monday. Great speech this morning in the open York Rite colleges meeting! You are doing great work in the Commandery "Old Man"
I am pleased to announce that Port Neches Council #413 took 1st place in the Ritual Competition held on Saturday. We scored a perfect 1000 points. Way to go guys!
