We not only need to be visible in our communities but we need to be contiributing to them as well. There is nothing we can do about it until we become "members". And I am talking about every thing from giving local lodges...
I can see both sides. I have to agree with Bro Chance that we would see a better return from an investment in DeMolay than we would in Boy Scouts. But with that said I strongly feel we need to be more visible in our communities supporting "youth" activities. So what do we do? I am not sure...
Well we still have our Charter so I must not have screwed up too much...lol Made a couple of mistakes..let's just say it was a little purple in there tonight. All in all not too bad

No, I can see clearly what having a "codebook" has done to Chapter & Council. If there were a GLoT Code book our degrees would all be read and take away from the experience, JMHO
I was at GL when this was voted on...my frist visit to GL matter of fact. It was a very heated disscussion back and forth on both sides. It is sad that the State level was willing but the International wasn't. Really made me wonder who were they trying to protect...
I joined the Scottish Rite fairly soon after getting my MM because I want to do Shrine eventually and thought I had to join the SR in order to do that. the SR temple in Galveston is great and the degrees are great, however to me it is set up for the retired man that lives close by or can take...
