I'm pretty we use the emulation ritual in my jurisdiction, which every MM is given a ciphered version of the work. But I know other jurisdictions use work that influenced by either rite. I don't want to get into any examples, so as to not inform the profane that are present on this forum.

So if the York rite is an American thing, what do you call it on England? Here in Canada we also do our work in the first, and Masonry here is almost mirrored to that in England. Here, the chapter degrees are in the York rite, except for the past masters degree.
