I find it hilarious that the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania is the only actual "Ancient" Grand Lodge and we go by F&AM.

You are referring to US GLs. While I‘ve not counted to determine if most of those are AF&AM, in part it is to distinguish from PHA, which in in the US is F&AM.
