It's not too popular among most Mason's I've talked to, but my my Lodge's Sentinel. I love it. I post the colors, and escort the Senior Deacon when there's an alarm that's sounded.[IMG]

The background picture painted on the wall is awesome !

Now, are we talking about the collar or nose ring ? Dark Blue ? Here, that indicates a Grand Lodge officer, and only they can wear dark blue collars..

    Where is that temple ?

Just had a look at your web site, your 2009 Table Lodge looked like a lot of fun and similar to what we do - including "fancy dress"...

I've heard of an Inner Guard or Sentinel on these forums before. We do not have those here in Kentucky but I very much like hearing of things that I was now aware of. Congratulations on your position.

Interesting. We do not have an Inner Guard in PA. Here that job is divided between the Junior and Senior MCs and the Pursuivant, depending on what door has an alarm.

Here, in both GL of Scotland lodges and GL of Newfoundland and Labrador lodges the Inner Guard sits just inside the West Gate. His duty is to admit brethren upon proof, receive candidates in due form, and obey the commands of the Junior Warden.
