I came across Sapere Aude, a podcast on YouTube, that other applicants/petitioners may find interesting.

It's open to non-masons and the general public and was started earlier this year in response to the Covid lockdowns.
The presenters I have watched so far are Robert L.D. Cooper, Ric Berman and Jacques Huyghebaert. I can see other presenter names in their video list that I have heard of before in my initial research on Freemansonry like Christopher Earnshaw, Dr David Harrison, Angel Millar, Bharat V Epur and Jason Richards.
The sessions are approxmately 3 hours long comprising a speaker presentation followed by a moderated Q & A session. This then leads into a non-moderated chat amongst the attendees that have still stuck around and who seem to know each other quite well. While the first 2 parts of the session are very informative and interesting to an applicant like me, it's the informal and jovial yet respectful chats that I was surprised I really enjoyed watching. It showed me what I suspect is the camaraderie and "brotherhood" that I have heard so much about - one of my many reasons for applying. If this is how it is after a meeting or in the "South" then I think I have made a good decision applying.
The host is the Grand Lodge of Georgia (country instead of US state) and I have seen attendees present who have described themselves as Freemasons from different parts of the world including Australia, England, Turkey, India, Canada, the US, Singapore, Sri Lanka, etc. They vary as much in age as they do location.
I hope this helps some of the other applicants on this forum who are curious to learn more before they are intiated and in what seems to be a "kosher" way. I hope I'm not wrong on that last point.
Thanks for reading this far.
