William Shakespeare or Francis Bacon

19th-century belief that probably stems from the elitism of the era. The 19th century was the same period when it was presumed that professional athletes were innately inferior to amateur "gentleman" athletes and that officers did not need to do heavy physical training, since they were innately exceptional beings. The theory is quite discredited.

Interesting, but bacon and Shakespeare bother have some of the best literature around especially bacon and his New Atlantis but there are other reason to the Shakespeare Bacon theory such as his name apparently is a cipher, the many references to pigs in Shakespeare's work and some portraits of Shakespeare apparently look like a face on top of another face as if hes wearing a mask, manly p hall in the secret teachings of all ages dedicates a chapter to it, check it out brother!

The ciphers cannot be substantiated outside of conspiracy theorists. The so-called "evidence" has been refuted many times over.

Don't forget Ben Johnson. He too was rumored as the true writer of the scripts.

Not to worry though. If we figure this one out there will still be curtain rods to find in Dallas.

And guys ... I've never read The Star.
