Freemasons in Sweden

Dear Sir,

We represent few persons who would like to join the brotherhood. We have chosen to write you due to certain difficulties we are currently encountering. These difficulties can be summarized in the following:

We are Arabic-speaking individuals from different walks of life with various educational background living in Sweden. Some can also speak English beside simple Swedish.
We would like to join the brother and be representatives of it here in Sweden.
Among Arabic speaking immigrants in Sweden, we see many potential candidates who would wish to join the brotherhood.
We don't know what to do or to whom we should refer!

Would you please be so kind to guide us..

Sincere regards

Not sure how close you are to Denmark, but over there they also have a lodge structure that works Traditional Craft Masonry, which has not Christian requirement. That could be an option as well.

There is also Finnish speaking lodge(s) in Sweden that don't require one to be christian but hold faith in one god.
Fun note. Finland and Swedem are only two countrys inthe world that has masonic lodges in other country. There is lodges under GL of Sweden in Finland and lodges under GL of Finland in Sweden.

Actully the lodges in Sweden seem to work in swedish.
And we are not the only ones, UGLE and GL of scotland among others have lodges outside of their own country.

I have always taught that lodges in Sweden under GLOF work in Finnish and are run by Finnish immigrants and their offspring. Lodges in FInland that are under GLOS work in Swedish. But we are a bilingual country do perhaps that is the reason.

We have to remember that we have tons of people inFinland that has Swedish names even they are Finnish and not even Swedish speaking.
I have no fact's about what language is used in lodges under GLOF in Sweden it was merely assumption. I'm pretty sure that lodges under GLOS in Finland work in Swedish.
