This is excellent information. While I was on vacation a few weeks ago we stopped in jewelry store and I was browsing masonic rings. I really liked the red one but something told me that it wasn't for me or my lodge. I was going to ask someone at my lodge but we have gone dark for the summer and...

First off, i see only MM of PHA speaking masonicly in a public forum... not E.A. or F.C.
Next, In my lodge we all meet as brothers. In public I greet strangers as I would friends... why, when I become a MM, would I treat a brother as a lesser man?! That's ridiculous! !
Last, why the pissing...
I was referring to some of the post here. I don't approach masons that I don't know or ones that don't know me. If I did approach a fellow brother, as a non mason or an EA, I would hope he would treat me with the same respect I treat him with. If not it would turn me away from whatever they...

Yea.. I wasn't aware of the army situation. I have never been able to have conversations like this without it becoming heated or personal until I was introduced to masonry. No matter what our veiws on the situation, in the end we leave on the level... thank you brother!

I see your point about the measure of a man however only a reconized body can grant the right to operate as a recognized masonic lodge. Obviously this point can go around and around and both of us would be making the same points all night. Look at it this way though, if you decided to start a us...
If it wasn't this way than a ton of non sanctioned lodges would be popping up with god only knows what kind of motives and that would be bad for masonry as a whole.. pha or "mainsteam" could possibly be given a bad rep and irreversable damages could be caused. Is that something you would like to...
