I will be going through the degrees in Greensboro during a Honorary DeMolay Class for Master Masons next Saturday afternoon. It's called a grand masters class . That morning I have to be #1 Ruffian and do the lecture and charge for a double third degree at the lodge that's near my campus ...
Even though you're not familiar with DeMolay I do know you know a lot about the craft :)
Would you recommend I try to get something done via the Executive Officer ( the head advisor , who's a Mason , over all chapters and DeMolay's in NC) or just let it subside ?
I don't want to cause...
Hello ,
I'm a 20 year old Master Mason in North Carolina. I had petitioned DeMolay when I was 12 in Norfolk VA , and was elected. I was never brought through the degrees, due to a supposed miscommunication about my date for the degrees.
Fast forward to now , and I'm in college near Raleigh...

I just submitted my DeMolay application. I should be getting initiated at the end of March. I can't wait ! If it's anything like the Blue Lodge Degrees, I'll be interested to see how much further light I will gain.
I agree BroBook. Plus , in NC you can join at 18 for the Lodge. That change was made precisely so DeMolay could do BOTH Mason's and DeMolay if they were already in it prior to putting their application into the lodge. Well, if that's the case, I don't see why my situation couldn't work either .
In North Carolina atleast, you can. But, you definitely get looks from the older advisors as to why. That's what I'm going through now since I'm 19 , a MM, and am wanting to go through the DeMolay Degrees before I go to college next year . As a MM, you can attend their meetings AND degrees...
