Beed involved in Masons for 28 years,
Was Worshipful Master at old Sanderson Lodge #122 in 2017. Received Past Master Degree in 2018 at Grand Lodge annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
Was Honorary Member of the old Lawtey Masonic Lodge #189 no closed.
After Sanderson Lodge closed, became a member of Dawkins Lodge #60, Sanderson, Florida, which is the old Sanderson Lodge.
Been a retired Law Enforcement Officer serving in the capacity as a Correctional Officer, Corrections Investigator for 10 years, Baker County Sheriff's Office for 6 years, Law Enforcement Inspector with Department of Correction Inspector General's Office for 9 years, was on the Northeast Florida Violent Fugitive Task Force Deputized as a U.S. Marshall until retirement in 2005.
