Does anyone have or know where to get a list of past grand masters of Louisianna?
I have a friend whose grandfather we think may have been a PGM there or at least a grand
Officer. Thanks
Without question, give aid.
It also would not hurt to render aid even if the sign is not given. A PHA Mason stopped on the side
of the road one time & helped me put on my spare tire because he saw my S&Q sticker on my truck.
Brotherly love, relief, & truth should have no jurisdictional barriers.
A friend showed a picture of his grandfather at lodge with his hand slightly inside his coat. I noticed also that other masons throughout the years have done the years (Washington, Napoleon, etc) have done the same.
In the Archives of Brazos Union I found this photo of one of our Past Masters...
I text all the time from the my station in the west. A lot of time if it is in a degree, it is to make changes that otherwise cannot be said aloud or when one cannot move about the lodge room. I do not find it a disrespectful thing unless it causes a disturbance.
Ok, I'll say it again in layman's terms: Don't that much to where you become intoxicated.
If you have to get intoxicated every time you drink, it might not be a good idea to drink in the first place.
Has that ever been an issue in other jurisdictions where it is allowed?
Its a rule left over...
-Stewards being exempt from dues is a personal opinion that goes with the individual lodge, not a state-wide rule.
My experience as a steward for 2yrs, in 2 lodges at the same time, was a tough job. Just suggesting for that term
that they gave to the lodge in that position. Guess I should ask...
I will say:
Better attendance for meetings.
Stewards exempt from paying dues.
Repeal the archaic "No alcohol" rule.
Recognition of PHA.
Endowment eligibility moved to 20yrs of membership or
for any PM.
