We had 5 candidates in my class but one couldn't make it that nite due to work. I entered 3rd out of 4 so I got to watch the last candidate after me take his Obligation.
The Master arraigned for the lodge in an adjacent town to confer a courtesy degree on our 5th candidate...

It always amazes me the connections you make as a Mason. I work less than a mile from Tyrian Lodge and a Texas Mason belongs to a lodge on our southern doorstep!

In Massachusetts, I've noticed that most of the lodges I've visited have an organ in the room. Unfortunately not all the lodges have an organist available. I like the fact that at my lodge, Mount Carmel, we do have an organist. It really sets the mood. I'm not sure what the music is he plays...
