When I was entered, passed, and raised I also went to other lodges afterwords to see the degree ceremony from the other side. It was very helpful in helping me move on in the degrees. Also just listen and pay attention to what is happening to you during the ceremony's. And as you are trying to memorize the degree's, take a minute to try and understand what it is trying to tell you. The more you understand what is happening to you and why the better mason you will become. Anybody can memorize, not everybody can understand.
