Howdy Brothers!

I with be traveling to Austin, Texas for my best friends wedding Saturday, November 3, 2012. I will be driving from Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas. I am not sure whether I will be arriving Thursday or Friday evening. I would like to know if there are any brothers I could attend lodge with either one of those evenings. I will be staying in zip code 78731.

I am unfamiliar with the area having only been there once. Thank you brothers and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Brother,
Found this on the Grand Lodge website for Austin. Two of the Lodges in Austin meet on the first Monday of the month: University and Onion Creek.
I have attended University Lodge. In fact, as a courtesy to me, they allowed me to confer the Master's Degree on a young man whose petition I signed. I taught my nephew Mason, who was his Masonic mentor, so it was kinda like conferring the degree on a "Masonic" grandson! It was kind of them to allow me the privilege. They are a good lodge in downtown Austin.

Onion Creek Lodge meets on the first THursday of each month (Nov. 1 in this case). I have been to Onion Creek for training, but not a lodge meeting. It is a great old Lodge with much history.
Here is a cut-and-paste of the info:
