I couldn't remember if this was the situation where the guy was going up on Masonic charges but had not yet been expelled and the Shrine didn't expel him. From the Shrines point of view was until such time as he was expelled he was still eligible. I don't recall if this is that same one or not...
Indeed my Brother. I go for those reasons and others also. Coming back from the Scottish Rite Reunion last weekend I had a very interesting talk with some of the longer tenured Brothers of my Lodge. I found out that many of the things I and some of the younger Brothers want is what they want...
The reason I haven't joined the York Rite at this time are two-fold. First and foremost is expense. I want to go through the York Rite degrees but at this time just simply can't afford it. It isn't so much the degree fees and dues as it is the cost of buying a whole uniform vs. simply buying the...
Our Sheriff who is running for reelection is a member of my Lodge. In the last campaign mailer sent out under organizations he is affiliated with is the Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Shrine. Also, along with a bunch of law enforcement groups.
The sad thing is these kids are just puppets. They are not old enough to form their own opinions in politics yet. To have them repeat lines that someone else wrote is just wrong. No person in a position that has the ability to enough with this kind of crap will step up to the plate. If it were...
Well, you know we have been at this stuff for centuries. I guess we are just trying to make sure the masses are brainwashed before we finally make our move and put the new world order in place. At least that is how it might appear if politicians were made to disclose their membership in the...
I picked up In This Moment yesterday. They have evolved their sound over the course of their albums. Good stuff. Maria Brink their lead singer has definitely got a great voice. Easy on the eyes too.
No I don't like that idea. It gives too much fodder for the conspiracy theorists and if a person is in a position like a Senator or Representative being a Mason doesn't necessarily make them qualified for that position. Take the Presidential race, for instance, if Obama was a Mason I still would...
I think number 26 is pretty accurate also. I have a friend that is a detective and it seems that whoever he is partnered with is his polar opposite. He enjoys it though so it is all good for him.
Indeed. I have several friends that live in NYC and some of the surrounding areas. Luckily, it appears everyone is safe, but without power. My prayers are with those that weren't as fortunate.
I would say let it go. If you go over there and try to defend anything we have said or done on here you will be stepping into their home and will accomplish nothing. He has his beliefs and we have ours. He is no longer here and we are better off. There is nothing any of us could say or do that...
I really like that channel the best guy on there is Jose. I also enjoy the "Bloody Roots" show when they play it. There are a couple of bands that I have really grown to like that I first heard on there. Volbeat is one of the first that come to mind and also, The Devil Wears Prada.
I listen to a bit of everything. I have classical, rock, country, blues, and jazz to name a few on my mp3 player. I do love metal though. FFDP, Pantera, DevilDriver, The Acacia Strain, Suicidal Tendencies, and lamb of god to name a few. On my Sirius my two most listened to stations are Octane...
I believe what he is referring to is one post where a Brother quoted some graffiti that was painted on their Lodge. Sad really, they way they act. I was just looking at their site after seeing this thread and read through some of the discussions on there. I find it odd that he and some of the...
