A word of advice that I recently received about this. Though you are not wrong for asking the question, a person trying to pose as a Mason who is not, in fact, our Brother, may see this and use the information regarding these questions to better pretend his way into receiving the benefits of...
Re: Why Texas Masonry is not surviving in the 21st
I agree wholeheartedly, but I would advise caution. In some places (I have been a victim of this personally) a Brother can be tried and convicted of unmasonic conduct for even possessing poetry (or anything else) that alludes to masonry if it...
Before saying anything, I remember my obligations and ask myself, "will anyone seeing/hearing this know anything of the secrets of the Fraternity for having seen/heard it that they didn't know before?"
example:
your question alludes to Masonry, but it does not reveal anything. As to what not...
I prefer mouth to ear. It is how I learned, and, as Albert Einstein once said, "Why would I memorize something I can find in a book?" Inevitably knowledge is more secure and better retained when it must be memorized and cannot be made readily available via a book or other source.

Re: CBS Sunday Morning to air segment on Freemason
I agree wholeheartedly. Those who seek the truth will find it. Those who do not, will not accept it even if it is given to them.
The short answer is yes. Every degree in Masonry teaches new things. In fact many of us as MM still learn new things from the work even after having gone through the degrees.
Very interesting, I was unaware of any such theory. Thank you. For the sake of fairness, that particular instance may not have been a valid support for my point given that. Still, it would seem the situations involving that kind of behavior from religious or political organizations are far more...
I have never heard of any issues with the GLofTX until recently. Is this kind of thing a common occurrence in TX? I have never been to a GL anywhere (though I am hoping to go to next years communication).
