    Amity (app)

Yeah, I would actually do the same. I thought it could be a more convenient way of searching for lodges rather than going through the individual Grand Lodges' websites. The app is a cool concept, but it doesn't seem to be anyone manning the post.

    Amity (app)

I am going to necro- revive this thread. I registered for Amity. I can't seem to get verified. I can't even scan the QR code from the online account of the Grand Lodge. I have sent messages, but I have not received a response. I guess it isn't a big deal; when I was raised, there were members...

Please , I want to be a member of the freemason.

Interestingly enough, I never technically asked one. I went to the website, Be A Mason, and within 48 hours, I received a phone call and email. By the end of the week, I had breakfast with two Masons. To be honest, Freemasons could do more to create more positive "exposure" to the public.

It wasn't a thing. It was exceptional and rejected at the time. At that time, women were treated as...

Grand lodge of California being more accepting of Co and female Masons.

You are being disingenuous. Co-Freemasonry was NOT widely accepted. They are considered "irregular." You seem to suggest it has been widely accepted, when this is far from the truth. (I have no idea the relevance of the founding of the GL of North Carolina or any Grand Lodge is.) I also noted...

Grand lodge of California being more accepting of Co and female Masons.

I am not in favor. I am not sure why it has become a thing that everything needs to be coed. Women do not organize their own clubs and support groups independent of men. There is no reason why men cannot have their own "fraternal" organization. There are already auxillary organization that are...
