It depends on the mood I'm in and the money I've got. Prefer imports to domestics. Bud, Bud Light, MGD, Coors, Coors Light ect and so on ask give me a very bad headache while I'm drinking. Pearl makes for a decent pesticide, most pests...
Been following the conversation here and must say that it is very interesting to say the least.
You fellas got me thinking, I can't afford a kilt right now and especially not an entire outfit. So, I started thinking, why not order a yard or two of material and make a tie. It would be asn easy...

Masonry came to Brownsville on Feb. 25, 1849 when the GrandMaster of Texas permitted 17 members to form a Lodge to be known as Rio GrandeLodge No. 56 with John C. McCleland as Worshipful Master.
R.E. Clements was to leave on horseback to Austin to obtainthe charter. But, due to many difficulties...
A co-worker was telling me what a bunch of Devil worshipers I had joined and he was affraid for me. For the better part of a half hour he went on with this. Devil worshiping, comparing ourselves to Jesus.... The list goes on and on. Finally at the end I asked him one simple question. Why was I...
I'm third generation as far as I know. My father(d), not sure how far he went in Masonry past Master Mason, and my Grandfather (Maternal). He was 32nd Scotish Rite. My mothers second husband(d) was also a Mason, Scotish Rite, York Rite and Shriner(Alhambra).
After reading your post a few times I realise that there is nothing more I can add to it. You summed it up very well Brother.
But being a new Mason, I personaly thought that it was just so cool that when the "older" brothers in the lodge called me by my name, it felt as if I had known them all...
Thanks Brothers for all the warm welcomes. I've been doing a little reading on here and have come to the conclusion that there is probably several months worth of material on here. Time to get back to it.
I haven't been to many, haven't been a Mason that long. But, the ones that I have been to have been paper and plastic. We have a pickle jar, (here in Texas I guess you could say that it's a small one), it has a picture off a cat taped to it. Not required but, the kitty needs to be fed.
I can understand about "marking" your calander on your phone. I would be lost without mine. As a personal rule of thumb, I put mine on vibrate and leave it in my pocket. I've always been taught that it is just plain rude not to give whoever is speaking your full attention. Just hope I can...
Hello, I just created my profile today. I'm a member of Rio Grande Lodge #81. Originaly from Tenessee, my grandfather (mothers side) and father were both Masons. I know my grandfather was involved in the Scotish Rite not sure about dad. Hope to attend Lodge one day at my fathers lodge now that I...
