Event At Floresville Lodge

Today I will be going to the Floresville Lodge for a "Bring a Friend to Lodge" event. Three different lodges in the area are working together on this function. I am looking forward to meeting more of the brothers. I was told they would be showing a video of a professor that is a mason speaking to a lot of non masons. They told me it is a very interesting video. Also we will be Having lunch together. I think this will be a good time to meet some other masons in the area. Plus I should be able to get the last of my signatures. WooHoo

Had a great time at the lodge yesterday. The presentation was very thought provoking and engaging. Many masons from the area were present including some of the District officers. The video was very good, and the speakers had a lot of good information. Afterword's at the meal there was time for questions and good conversation. I got my last 2 signatures one being a Bro with his 50 year pin from this lodge. After he signed my petition he stuck out his hand and said congratulations on starting my journey and he hopes I enjoy it. I also learned recently there was an 85 year pin created and presented at a different lodge, and the Bro walked up on his own to receive it. that is a lot of knowledge gained in those 85 years.
