This Friday my 1 year old Son will be having surgery on his hand at the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. If you all could keep my Son in your prayers it would be much appreciated.
I'm sure everything will go fine I'm just a little nervous as a Father.
Well guys. The surgery went as planned. All is good and even though my Son has a cast covering his whole arm he still has that playing spirit. Just a happy and cheerful child. So I thank the GAOTU for the good people at the Scottish Rite Hospital and also all the Brethren that have been there in spirit. Today's experience reminded me of one of the reasons I ever became a Mason and that is to inspire and change people lives in the most eternally beautiful way which is Charity. I am so humble & thankful. SMIB
That's awesome. Glad to hear you son is fine. I had a full arm cast in the sixth grade and let me tell you that it didn't stop me from doing the things I wanted. I even went swimming with it on! the wonders what grocery bags and duct tape can do
Yes! He is still a bouncing jelly bean. And since he has a cast on feeling impact when he plays hard is not a factor to him. It's a relief. I never had a cast so I can't relate to the experience.
