M&D was the first book I bought and read after I was raised. I think you did pretty good to understand 25% of it. Thanks for reviving this thread.

    LOL - necroposting.

I actually like it - makes sure you don't have 20 threads on the same topic. In forums I've moderated, I actually encourage "necroposting" (but only now heard the amusing term). However I understand not all are fans of the practise... but I am.

I think it's somewhat ok when you add something new or relevant to the debate.
But if it's just nonsense that does nothing but boost your post count I find it rude.

Boosting post count would not be the intent. There has been some interesting content revived if not interesting it will die. Sorry if the practice annoys...

When I come across an old thread the subject of which interests me I revive it for further discussion. I didn't know there was anything wrong with that.

I personally have no problem with someone reviving a thread, especially if its one i havent read. What does bother me is when its a thread with a question pertaining to the OPs point in time and someone revives it with out reading the whole thing or with giving advice specific to the OP and the thread has beem dead for like 3 years. Especially when it gets revived with something like "ur just fc you need to chill out" its like bro its been 3yrs hes more then likely a mm by now

Of course you were, but that "...hes more then likely a mm by now" comment was just begging to be replied to!
