Hello, I haven't seen you on the forums before so welcome.

The answer to your question is explained in one of the early lessons of Freemasonry, at least it is here in Texas.

Although, Freemasonry being veiled in allegory and explanations written by brethren that admit to not having the genuine secrets, the explanation is somewhat unsatisfactory

A close examination of the EA TB will show some of them.

Really? How is that if as you say and, i agree, that those who wrote the plays dont posses them.....you do know that the degree plays are not historically accurate, right?

That is a very interesting question: How could the Freemasons of the 1717 Grand Lodge have access to genuine information?

Some glimpse of the process can be seen when the 3rd degree based on Noah was changed 2 years later to be based on Hiram.

A further glimpse can be had when considering the history of the first lodge known to conduct a raising.

If you have received the EA degree, it should have been explained in the second section.

It most certainly is in the Texas work. We just went over all of that this last Saturday in our Certification school/forum here in San Angelo.

The explanation is in the 3rd section of the degree work for EA.

Calm down captain it's just a friendly discussion. FYI this isn't directed at anyone, just thought it would be funny.
