Ohio Travelling Masters

Just in from Lodge Rothes #532, where I had the pleasure of seeing the hall packed full of brethren, all of whom turned out to witness The Ohio Master Travellers perform an exemplification of the FC Degree. A fantastic thing to see the differences between their ritual and ours, and to meet these guys during their visit to Scotland. This is what Freemasonry is all about, brotherly love and education.

I'm from Ohio and have never heard of the Ohio Master Travelers!

Has always been a dream to attend lodge in Scotland or England. The end of the month I will be attending lodge at Goose and Gridiron 1717 which is a English emulation lodge here in Ohio. I'm really looking forward to that.

This was I believe their 2nd trip to Scotland, in association with our Black Watch Masonic Degree Team. Our team will be visiting Ohio, (I think its in 2 years), as the 2 teams take turn about.

I have found their Facebook page and will have to find out more about them. It looks like they are based out of Cincinnati which is about four hours from me.

Will have to keep any eye out for your team coming over here. Would love to see them in action.
