Very Disturbed

I was wondering down a rabbit hole today on Social Media, and stumbled on the picture of an apparent brother that deeply disturbed me. The man in question was a member of a notorious 1% outlaw biker group, known for it's criminal activity. He biker vest was festooned with Confederate flags and the patches of his MC. And prominently displayed right on the right lapel was a large black and white Masonic square and compasses.

I couldn't help but feel repulsed. I recognize that he may just be some person wearing that emblem and having never actually been raised a mason, but it stuck on me that if he were, an active member of a lodge, what sickness must rest there.

I grew up in Outlaw biker groups, my father being a biker. I'm not interested in the excuses given by some. They are criminal organizations that wreak havoc and nothing more. Hardly an example of our fraternity.

Just venting

Just because someone wears a square and compasses doesn’t mean they have anything to do with Masonry. Without the image or any other reference (MC name, region, etc) we cant even begin to speculate on the why or wherefore.
I’ll assume you aren’t in favour of the Widow’s Sons as a Masonic activity?

Some GL's are separating themselves from the widow's sons, because of their crude behaviour. Some act like the hells angels, while others are a quiet masonic bike club. I don't care either way, but prefer keeping your biker vest and other garb in the tylers room before entering the lodge room.

This is on the back of my vest...

Nothing wrong wearing it in lodge IMHO.

How do you know it was a Freemason square and compass?
It's also associated with other organizations....

This would've been more meaningful if you had shared the image so that we could judge if there was some kind of transgression, however, as it stands this is just gossip.

Confederate flag has nothing to do with it. What 1% gang was it? A true 1% is on the ATF list most are on the SPLC (a hack organization in the hate game for free money.) many real hate groups have hijacked the flag of the CSA as they do not know what is really is, much like the swastika, and black sun adopted by the NAZI party on Hitlers orders.. What OMG did you grow up in? A gang investigator wants to know. It may have Intel significance.

Full patched? prospect? state?

WS are nothing more than a shrine type club. that in its' face is reason to not only separate from them but declare them clandestine. All the "clubs" for Masons are a leach on the fraternity. Like the shrine, they will actively recruit for the blue lodge to increase membership in the club. see my posts on the shrine.

Each spiritual group, including Freemasonry, likes to see itself as the one, true organization.

The impulse behind Freemasonry is very ancient, perhaps originating from the Blazing Star. As a result there are many threads (groups, traditions, sons-of) over the millennia, and those threads, often losing focus, look to other threads for inspiration.

For example we find reincarnated Templar troops casting around for ways forward. The first requirement is brotherhood. Suitable formats include military, ritual, bikes, and churches. Second is to develop an understanding of the underlying spiritual intent. That does not go so well these days.

Many years ago I knew Tom, Lt Col of a UK tank regiment. Tanks are the modern equivalent of armored knights.

I met a fellow from Switzerland (inverse color templar cross on their flag and continuation of the secret banking of the templars). I noticed that the Swiss fellow had the same shape of nostril as Tom. Similarity of specific features indicates strong energy similarity.

So I asked Tom if he had known this Swiss in other lives. Oh yes, he said, we were knights templar together.

Let us be tolerant of other groups that seek to recover the spiritual thread they had long ago. Perhaps Freemasons might even learn something before it is too late for the current manifestation of Freemasonry.

The purpose behind Freemasonry still remains - managing the temple that extends from E to W etc - so there will always an urge to form/recover such groups.

What macro ecosystem or undiscovered world do you live in?

spent many years working a bike week where it was a mandatory run for HAMC. As the strongest gang in the region all other gangs or patch wearing clubs were required to "pay a respect visit" to greet Sonny B. when I saw the WS president shake SBs hand..... early 2000s when WS first started. 1% OMGs had a truce and the Sgt at Arms met with the PD and laid out truce ground rules, the coordinated the "mutual respect" to prevent another NV gang fight. I was forced to arrest a WS for wreckless driving and DUI. he saw my ring and the brother begging began. The night judge was a brother. WS made a mass appearance to pay his bail. JUST LIKE true OMGs. Yes not all are bad, but the few makes ALL look bad.
